Title
Indoor Location for 3D audio
Goal
Use a combination of BLE beacons and accelerometers to track a users location and orientation in an indoor location
Description
Indoor location isa notoriously hard problem to solve. Magnetometers are affected by modern building materials. Indoor locations can't use GPS. The resolution required needs to be better than for outdoor use especially if the aim is to work with augmented audio in a 3D space.
Resources
BLE beacons, Raspberry Pie and ADXL343 triple axis accelerometer. Student will require own android mobile phone to act as main computation system.
