Title
-
Multi-Layer Bloom Filter-Based Authentication for Resource-Constrained IoT Devices
-
Goal
-
Design and develop a lightweight multi-layer Bloom Filter authentication protocol suitable for resource-constrained environments. This project should evaluate memory efficiency and computational performance of the proposed system. Finally compare the proposed model with conventional authentication approaches.

Description
- Many existing IoT authentication mechanisms depend on computationally intensive cryptographic operations, which can require significant memory, processing power, and energy resources. This creates several challenges for resource-constrained IoT devices.
Bloom Filters provide a lightweight and resource-efficient approach for IoT authentication by enabling fast membership verification with relatively low memory and computational requirements. Compared with conventional cryptographic approaches that may require greater processing and storage resources, Bloom Filters can reduce the overhead associated with authentication, making them suitable for resource-constrained IoT devices.
This proposal is to design and develop a lightweight authentication mechanism that enables efficient and reliable verification while minimizing computational, memory, and storage overhead on resource-constrained IoT devices using Bloom Filter.
