Hacking AI Toys - Ethically
Goal
Develop a rapid framework for the ethical evaluation of AI toys, and modify AI toy to be more ethical
Description
AI toys have recently become more popular. However, researchers have called for more research on their ethical implications. This project aims to develop a framework for the rapid ethical evaluation of AI toys, evaluate an AI toy for ethical implications based on that framework, and hack the AI toy to be more ethical based on that evaluation. The project can include behaviour modifications, appearance modifications, and/or the development of user instructions to mitigate ethical harm. The outcomes of the project will be the rapid ethical evaluation framework, and the modified AI toy.
