Title
Developing a Blockchain Explorer for Transaction and Block Analysis
Goal
To design and implement a blockchain explorer that enables users to search, analyze, and visualize blockchain transactions, blocks, addresses, and network activity.
Description
Blockchain networks maintain transparent and immutable ledgers containing records of transactions and block information. While this data is publicly accessible, extracting meaningful insights from raw blockchain data can be challenging without suitable tools. This project aims to develop a blockchain explorer that provides users with a convenient platform to retrieve, analyze, and visualize blockchain information. The system will allow users to search for transactions, blocks, and wallet addresses while presenting relevant details through an interactive web interface. In addition to basic exploration capabilities, the system will incorporate analytical features that help users better understand blockchain activity and transaction patterns. The developed platform may utilize public blockchain APIs or node services to retrieve blockchain data and provide visualization capabilities such as transaction trends, block statistics, network activity, and address-level analysis. The project will investigate how data analytics and visualization techniques can improve the accessibility and interpretability of blockchain information. The final system will be evaluated based on functionality, usability, data presentation quality, and its effectiveness in supporting blockchain data analysis. Potential features include: Transaction search and inspection Block search and analysis Wallet address exploration Transaction history visualization Block generation statistics Fee analysis and trends Network activity monitoring Interactive dashboards and charts Optional Bonus Components: Multi-chain support (Ethereum, Polygon, Base) Address clustering and behavioral analysis Smart contract interaction analysis Transaction anomaly detection Portfolio and wallet activity analytics
