Goal
Design a lightweight prototype authentication architecture for IoT devices. Student should evaluate authentication speed and resource consumption. Lastly, compare performance with traditional authentication methods.
Description
Many IoT devices are vulnerable to unauthorized access due to weak authentication mechanisms. Existing security protocols often require substantial computational and memory resources, making them unsuitable for resource-constrained devices. A lightweight authentication system is needed that can provide secure device verification while minimizing computational overhead.
