Title
A web-based system for creating specialised frequency dictionaries and supporting learning materials from provided texts
Goal
The aim is to develop a web-based system that analyses provided texts, creating specialised frequency dictionaries and supporting learning materials based on the vocabulary and expressions identified within them.
Description
This project aims to develop a web-based system for analysing texts from specific subject areas and, in particular, identifying, counting, and ranking frequently used words, phrases, and expressions. The system will use text-processing and frequency-analysis methods to organise the results into a specialised frequency and thematic dictionary. Based on the identified vocabulary, it will also generate supporting learning materials, such as vocabulary lists, example sentences, exercises, and other useful materials. The system will be evaluated using texts from different subject areas to assess the accuracy, usefulness, and readability of the generated dictionary and learning materials.
