Learn stuff about programming
Description
I have in mind to take an open-source package, like `snapper`, and reimplement it in a language like Haskell, OCaml, Elixir, Clojure, or similar. For the right student, this would be a great practical project. You'd learn (or deepen your understanding of) two languages *and* a practical package.
