Identifying Implants from Medical Images
Goal
To identify joint implants (e.g. knee, hip) and possibly the state of the implant from medical images
Description
The issue of identifying medical implants for joint replacement is well known https://air.aahks.net/login. Manufactures publish a database of products https://www.aaos.org/registries/american-joint-replacement-registry/ There are also follow up databases of implant performance https://reports.njrcentre.org.uk/Tracking-implant-performance . A Dubai clinician has proposed this project and can be involved to advise on other directions to take.
