Description
- This project focuses on integrating LLMs into robotics to develop a cognitive framework that allows robots to process human language and use it to inform their actions and decisions. Students will work on building a system that combines natural language processing with robotic control, enabling the robot to respond adaptively to verbal or written commands and queries, while also utilizing the cognitive capabilities of LLMs to enhance reasoning and planning.
This system can be applied to many different applications, agreeable with the student, e.g., manipulation, navigation, drones, customer service, etc. The system can be developed for simulation or applied to real robots.

Large Language Models (LLMs) have demonstrated significant capabilities in natural language understanding and generation, making them a promising addition to cognitive architectures in robotics. This project investigates the potential of LLMs to enhance cognitive modeling, autonomy, and collaboration in robotic systems, paving the way for breakthroughs in human-robot cooperation, assistance technologies, and autonomous navigation.
