Title
-
Creating photorealistic visualisations of mathematical structures in Blender
-
Goal
-
The project aims to create photorealistic 3D visualisations of mathematical structures using the Blender software programme.
-
Description
- This project aims to explore how mathematical structures such as surfaces, curves and fractals, as well as other geometric objects, can be represented and visualised in Blender. Students will use Blender's modelling tools to create geometric models of these structures, and Python scripting where appropriate, to generate complex shapes and structures. The project will also examine how materials, lighting, cameras, textures and rendering techniques can be employed to produce photorealistic visualisations.
