Description
- Students will design and produce software that collects data from a live or regularly updated source, processes it, stores it, and presents useful information through a dashboard. The data could relate to public transport delays, weather, energy usage, air quality, stock prices, university attendance, or service performance.
The system should not only display raw data, but also help users understand what is happening. For example, it could show trends, detect unusual changes, send alerts, or compare performance over time. Students should evaluate the system with users who would benefit from the information, such as students, managers, administrators, or analysts. They should gather feedback on usefulness, clarity, speed, and reliability, then produce recommendations for improving the dashboard, data quality, and real-world deployment.
