Description
With the proliferation of social media, many users upload images and videos without paying much attention to the “data in the background” – data that reveals information the user did not intend to reveal; sound coming from TV playing a program in a foreign language, untidy furniture, dog ball on the floor that suggests there’s a dog in the place, etc. The objective of the project is to build a system that automatically analyses the image or video, extracts “interesting” data, and makes forensic suggestions/conclusions on what this data indicates, in order to better profile the person who uploaded the image or video The project is typically for two students; one with experience in cyber security, the other with experience in AI or data science.
