Spam filtering is one of the most widely known applications of machine learning. It is usually trained on generic data in a “one model fits all” manner. And although some spam filtering software permits a basic level of customization by allowing the user to define their own rules to be integrated with the pre-trained spam filter. This is either crude, user unfriendly, or basic. The objective of this project is to create a personalized spam filter that learns automatically from user’s behavior what’s considered spam and what’s considered ham, by that particular user, in a continuous learning matter, and then integrates this knowledge in spam filtering
