Age Verification – Ins and Outs

Goal

Description

Several countries have recently adopted measures to restrict access of certain age groups to certain sites. This has been done using several age verification techniques, which pose serious privacy concerns. The effectiveness of these techniques have already been questioned given that several hackers have found several ways to bypass these measures The purpose of this project is to test these techniques experimentally and check which are more effective and which are less, all by taking privacy issues into account. Another objective is to propose other measures with less privacy issues Another and important objective is to check how these age verification techniques can be maliciously used to collect highly private data
