To create an educational prototype that uses 3D cardiac templates to support communication and teaching around congenital heart disease.

Description
- Congenital heart disease can be difficult to explain to parents, junior clinicians, nurses, and non-specialist clinical teams. Current explanations often rely on hand-drawn diagrams or generic online resources, which may not clearly represent the relevant anatomy.
This project will develop a proof-of-concept interactive 3D visualisation tool for selected congenital heart anomalies. The focus will be on anomaly-specific, template-based models.

Background
-
Review existing 3D cardiac visualisation and education tools.
Select 2–3 congenital anomalies to model, such as VSD, ASD, Tetralogy of Fallot, or transposition of the great arteries.
Adapt generic 3D heart models into anomaly-specific templates.
Add labels, simple explanations, and optional blood-flow/haemodynamic overlays.
Build an interactive viewer for exploring the models.
Evaluate the prototype with clinical collaborators or residents.
