Description
- Wireless Technology Advancements: Recent advancements in wireless communication technologies have opened up new possibilities for communication between vehicles and infrastructure. This project will delve into the latest wireless technologies and their potential applications in VANETs.
IoT Integration: The Internet of Things offers a vast ecosystem of sensors and devices that can be integrated into VANETs to collect and share data in real-time. We will explore how these IoT elements can enhance the intelligence and efficiency of vehicular networks.
Practical Applications: Through practical experiments and simulations, this project will demonstrate how VANETs can be used to address real-world transportation challenges. For example, by optimising traffic flow through intelligent signaling, waiting times can be reduced, leading to decreased fuel consumption and environmental benefits.
