Title
Designing machinery tools using a programming approach
Goal
The aim is to develop and explore computer-aided designs of machinery tools using programming approach (OpenSCAD or PythonSCAD).
Description
This project aims to explore how programming and computational methods can be used to design and develop parametric 3D models of mechanical tools and components. Students will use code to define the geometry, dimensions, and relationships between different parts, allowing models to be easily modified and adapted. The project may involve designing individual tools, mechanical components, or simple assemblies and exploring how changes in parameters affect the overall design. Students will gain practical experience in combining programming, geometric modelling, and computer-aided design to create flexible, reusable, and customisable 3D models.
