Title
-
Kafka - introduction for data pipelines
-
Goal
-
Design a lecture and lab on using Kafka
-
Description
- Kafka serves as a distributed streaming platform, facilitating the construction of real-time data pipelines and streaming applications.
It can be used for data integration and data pipelines.
The aim of this project would be to develop a lecture to introduce Kafka and then develop a 45 min lab which takes students from setting up a topic, adding various events, process streams and integrate into other services (eg database). The lab should also cover user account set up and authentication.
