Goal

Design, develop and evaluate the interactions of a social robot to facilitate reminiscing

Description

This project aims to design, implement, and evaluate a social robot to facilitate group reminiscing using sporting memories for people with dementia. This project will be carried out in collaboration with the National Robotarium, and a charity charity and social enterprise that helps older people to reminisce, replay and reconnect through the power of sport and physical activity. A data set with sporting memories will be available. The main activities will be the development of software for a social robot to faciliate these conversations and (group) reminiscing, and carrying out an evaluative study with human participants.
